Arleth Pando is a Latina artist currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work focuses on how society, culture, and the media have impacted women by the implication of stereotypes, standards, and expectations. She creates narratives by curating playful scenes and still lifes that are filled with a range of objects, and colors depicting layers of meaning and symbolism with the usage of satirical and ironic humor.
