Arleth Pando is a NJ/NYC based artist whose work focuses on how society, culture, and the media have impacted women by the implication of stereotypes, standards, and expectations. Which is influenced by my own personal experiences and thoughts from girlhood to womanhood as well as stories from other women. I create narratives by curating playful scenes and still lifes that are filled with a range of props, objects, and color depicting layers of meaning and symbolism with the usage of satirical and ironic humor.
