Arleth Pando (b. Princeton, NJ, 2000) is a Latina artist currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work focuses on how society, culture, and the media have impacted women by the implication of stereotypes, standards, and expectations. Which is influenced by her own personal experiences and thoughts from girlhood to womanhood as well as stories from other women. She creates narratives by curating playful scenes and still lifes that are filled with a range of objects, and colors depicting layers of meaning and symbolism with the usage of satirical and ironic humor.
